Prof. Edward Oyugi
Prof. Edward A Oyugi is the Chairman of the International Advisory Board at International Development Institute – Africa (IDIA)
Prof Oyugi attended the University of Cologne for his PhD in Psychology.
He is a renowned professor of Psychology at Kenyatta University and the founder and also the executive Director of SODNET.
Prof Oyugi has worked as a lecturer in universities in Kenya and abroad. In Kenyatta University, he taught Psychology from the year 1971 to 1982 and he is currently teaching at the same university on a part time basis. Ha has also taught development studies at Bayreuth University in Germany (1996 -1998) where he was a visiting professor.
Prof. Jacqueline Oduol
Prof. Jacquiline Oduol is a member of the International Advisory Board at the International Development Institute – Africa (IDIA).
She Holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Linguistics, University of Nairobi (1990). She also has a Master of Arts (M.A) degree in Linguistics from the University of Nairobi (1981) and a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed. Arts) -1st Class Honours’ from Kenyatta University (1979).
Prof Oduol is the Chair of the National Child Protection Committee, the Convener of the Caucus Board where she is a founder board member, the founder of Dialogue for Development Network, a Board Member of Mina Memorial Foundation, and former Chairperson of African Women for Research and Development Kenya - AAWORD Kenya - where she is the current regional representative.
Prof Oduol was the Permanent Secretary Ministry of Gender, Children & Social Development in 2013. Before that she was the Secretary of Children's Affairs in the Ministry of Gender, Children & Social Development (2008). She was the Associate Professor of Linguistics at USIU in 2008 as well.
Prof Oduol is also a motivational speaker and a writer with the following publications to her name:- Leadership, Civil Society & Democratization in Kenya, The Spirit of Womanhood; Mina's Enduring Legacy, The Ideology of Titles, The Women's Movement in Kenya and Women in Leadership & Good Governance, among others.
Mr. Orinda is the Group CEO/ Chairman of Africa Trade & Investment Group (ATIG) Limited.
Previously, Mr Orinda worked as a Regional Representative at LMP Levenets, Maciw & Partners, Attorney - at - Law (ADVOCATE) at Ndeda & Company ADVOCATES and President at Kenya Ukraine Business Association (KUBA).

Mr Orinda schooled at Kenya School of Law (KSL), Odessa National Academy of Law and Kharkov National University - Karazina School of Law.
Benson Nyang’or is a member of the International Advisory Board of IDIA. A results-driven Sales and Business Development Consultant holding a BCOM (Honours) degree with over 15 years blue-chip experience in sales, credit and financial management with core expertise in the air-express industry. He is passionate about community transformation through business and leadership development via mind renewal and skill impartation strategies. He is currently involved in development of spiritual network teams.

Ms. Ann Canavan is a member of the International Advisory Board at the International Development Institute – Africa (IDIA).
Ms Canavan is currently the Director, Health Policy and Practice at International Medical Corps. She is working in 28 countries in Africa, Asia and the Middle East regions with a broad continuum that spans emergency humanitarian response in the event of natural disasters or conflict and a growing health systems portfolio with special focus on support to countries emerging from conflict and recovering from disasters. She is responsible for strategic leadership of health programming through support to the development of global, regional and country strategies for increased access to health care through government health services and via community-based interventions. Previously she has works as; Senior Health Advisor, KIT Development Policy & Practice, at Royal Tropical Institute (KIT), Amsterdam, Netherlands, Consultant - Evaluation of global health cluster at World Health Organization, Technical - Health Coordinator MDTF at World Bank Sudan.
Prof. Tulyakov is a member of the International Advisory Board at the International Development Institute – Africa (IDIA).
He is currently the Vice Rector, Head of the Department of Criminal law at the National University ‘Odessa Law Academy’. He also worked at Institute of professional judges as a training director at the Odessa National Law Academy.
Ken Stravens is a member of the International Advisory Board at International Development Institute – Africa (IDIA).
Mr Kenneth is currently a missionary at Power to Change Ministries; Kenneth was the National Director of Life Ministry - Kenya.
Abdi Lidonde is a member of the International Advisory Board at International Development Institute – Africa (IDIA).
Mr. Abdi holds a degree in History and Political Science from Worcester State College. He is currently Senior Manager at College of the Holy Cross and a supervisor in the College’s physical plant department, in Worcester.
